#microMondays – delicious pessimism

I had a hard time getting out of bed this morning, public transit was delayed, and I was late for a meeting I forgot I had. My least favorite co-worker was a jerk, and I didn’t get to eat breakfast until lunch time.

My other co-workers were super nice, traffic was light on the way home,  I talked on the phone with my dad, and Tony carried me around the kitchen to get dinner ready (way more fun to travel that way).

I was feeling very “glass half-empty” about today. And you know what? I still think it was half- empty. I just didn’t realize at first that what’s left in the other half of the glass is a wickedly sweet fruit punch. 🙂
